Every update new things get installed that I don't want. But when I go to the app page there are no options for deleting these things. I don't want stuff like WhatsApp and copilot on this computer. I don't use them and will never use them and they take up space and limited internet speed when updating. these are just 2 examples. most apps I want to delete. I cant find any info anywhere and Microsoft support only gave me the Q&A as the sole support option. why is it so hard to streamline tech these days. does anyone have a solution? I have turned off auto updates.

    Hi Archie,

I think your best course of action is to go to your app settings on your computer to delete whatever you don't want.

    1. Press your windows key.
    2. Search for settings.
    3. Navigate to Apps

From there you can go to your installed apps and delete whatever you don't need/want like your WhatsApp. Turning off your auto updates like you said you did from the windows store should prevent them from redownloading.

If you're concerned about unused apps taking up space on your computer and limiting your internet speed you can also check your advanced app settings (underneath installed app settings) and make sure you have archive apps enabled.
