Is intune included in all Office 365 E3 licenses?

When selecting an E3 license in the admin centre, intune does not show up in Apps, however the website shows that intune is included. Could you please clarifiy whether its included or not?

Thank you

@Tate Spencer Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, intune is included in the following licenses:
    Microsoft 365 E5
    Microsoft 365 E3
    Enterprise Mobility + Security E5
    Enterprise Mobility + Security E3
    Microsoft 365 Business Premium
    Microsoft 365 F1
    Microsoft 365 F3
    Microsoft 365 Government G5
    Microsoft 365 Government G3
    Intune for Education

Intune isn't included in office 365 E3 licenses. Please see the following picture.

    Hope it will help.

Just come across this issue and this post.

As OP E3 licence, want to use intune. (As normal the documentation should be taken outback and shot.)

So the OP asked if the E3 includes intune as the support site says yes it does.

Then we have a reply with the referenced matrix from the site with E3 showing does include intune but then with a comment that its not included as the accepted answer.

So still non the wiser. 50 years MS have been working on licences and its still clear as mud..
The reason for this is because MS are ass backwards and have multiple products with names that should be different and they like to rename the products just to annoy everyone.

    Update:

So after all the messing about with office 365 and Microsoft 365 and the renaming of just so many products we are left with weird naming conventions that nobody can follow.

    THE IMPORTANT BIT:

E3 could be Office E3 or Microsoft E3 which are both part of Microsoft 365 which used to be part of office 365.. And both include Office 365..
    Understand?..
