problem with microsoft authenticator loop

soooo....I basically deleted the Microsoft Authenticator app and when I want to log into my school email on my laptop it asks me for the code so I reinstalled the app on my phone but to log in it asks me to enter the code that appears in my app and how can I do that if I need the code to log in? It's a loop with no solution.
