Azure Postgres Flexible Server is down

2025-09-02T08:49:41.3366667+00:00

Hi,
Our postgres flexible server is down since yesterday 3 in the morning. The nothing is working on it and there are no logs saying what the issue is. I have tried creating support requests, but despite my best efforts to do this I can not seem to create one. I am desperately reaching out here to see if there is anyway we can get our database back.

    Hi ,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Calling Microsoft Azure Support (use your country-specific number: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/options/). If you have a Microsoft Premier or Unified Support plan, use your TAM/CSA contacts for escalation.

Did you attempt a restart? Check if Point-in-time restore (PITR) is available to another server:

    • Go to Backups > Restore > choose a timestamp before the outage.
    • Create a new server and verify connectivity.
