Hi, I had a hotmail email address for the past 20 years, I went to change it as it was my maiden name, and not sure what I did, but its now a outlook email, but if anyone puts my hotmail in, it comes back saying there is no such address?!?!

In the new outlook email is all my emails etc from my hotmail account

My question is, how can I have emails to my hotmail address go to the updated outlook address?

Or, can I somehow change it back to my hotmail one?

I have so many friends I met on my travels that can no longer contact me

thanks heaps

Hi! My name is Aj and Im an Independent Advisor here to help! Once you switch it cannot be changed. So the only way is to properly set up alias in your Outlook address. This ensures all emails go into that inbox, and you can even sign in with it and send from it.

Go to your microsoft manage how you sign in to Microsoft page.

Under account aliases, make your Outlook address primary if it isn't already by clicking Make primary

Here is the link for guide
