I'm sure I'm in the wrong place but I'm hoping someone has an answer for me. I dropped and ran over my phone. I can't like it to Phone link because you can't see the screen. I'm just trying to do stuff on my computer hoping I can just transfer everything over to my new phone when I get it. Hope that makes sense. I have never done something so stupid in my life. Thanks for your time.

Sincerely,

Shelley

Hi! Sorry to hear that you have this situation, I understand how frustrating this situation must feel. Since your phone’s screen is no longer functional, it won’t be possible to complete the normal Phone Link setup process because that requires interaction on the mobile device. The good news is that your data is usually tied to your Microsoft account, and if you’ve been syncing with OneDrive, Outlook, or other Microsoft services, much of your content will be available automatically once you sign in on your new phone. For items like contacts, emails, photos, and files, these will repopulate as soon as you log in with the same Microsoft account.
