how to get soft keyboard on win10 at surface pro

Our software is a desktop application. At present, when running on the surface pro, the edit control will automatically pop up the soft keyboard when it gets the input focus, but some other windows also need to input text. When they get the focus, they will not automatically pop up the soft keyboard.

So what can we do to make these windows pop up the soft keyboard (similar to edit control) when we need to input?

Thanks!

    Hello @weiluo

This can be solved with a simple "education" on the user side on how soft keyboard works, to call in the Soft Keyboard by holding the Windows key and then spacebar (to rotate input method) or in touch screen by tapping the keyboard icon on the bar. This will bring the keyboard when no input focus is detected.

This are "modern" controls that we should get used in the near future as part of computer usage.

    Best regards,
