I have a new computer that had a weird .dll glitch when I tried running a video game from it. Anyways, the glitch caused the computer to randomly crash. At the time I didn't know what was causing the computer to crash and this glitch caused windows to crash during a "black screen update". Every so often, after the computer restarted a few times, I would get an error message that gave me a good indication of the problem, which was some .dll file associated with Nvidia. I uninstalled Nvidia app and the system seems to be stable now. This leads me to my current dilemma, which is trying to reinstall the nvidia app. I keep getting this error which I think may be related to when the system crashed during the black screen windows update. I believe this app says it's missing files from Microsoft Visual C++ X64 Minimum Runtime. Please correct me if I'm wrong here. I'm not the most experienced software troubleshooter.

Well, While trying to update from the https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 Website I get a similar error saying it's missing files. Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable x64 error message screenshot 1

The PC is brand new and I've tried windows update, sfc scannow, online dism repair command and it found no issues. Windows seems to think files are there but when you try to call the files Windows says please show me where the files are. I've tried uninstalled every windows update (same issue), using repair version of Windows 11 24H(something) (Same issue), I've tried resetting the PC to factory but it runs into a problem. I basically need help figuring out what the heck happened or how to get this PC to a usable state. Thanks.

Open, as an administrator, the Windows Registry by typing "Regedit" into the Windows Start button.

    Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products to remove MSI

Go to "Edit" and look for the missing *.msi file that was called out in the error message.

You have to search in the regedit tab and search according to the location you will find out yours should be 2015-2022 or just 2022 and delete the registry.

Restart on the computer and install Visual C AIO
