Dear Microsoft Edge Support Team,

My website was previously blocked on Microsoft Edge but has since been unblocked. While the issue is resolved now, I would like to know the proper procedure in case the same situation happens again in the future.

Is there an official channel, hotline, or form to contact Microsoft when a website is blocked?

What is the recommended process to request a review or re-evaluation if a legitimate website is flagged?

I would appreciate your guidance so I can be prepared if this occurs again.

Thank you very much for your support.

Best regards, jin

    Hi!

There is no public hotline/phone number/email you can use the Microsoft forms:

    1. If your site is flagged in the future:
    1. If the block is due to malware/phishing

In any case that is has been blocked or flagged:

    1. Confirm the block reason
      • Edge usually says: “This website has been reported as unsafe” (phishing/malware) or “This site is not secure” (SSL/HTTPS issues).
    2. Request a review via the official form (links above).
    3. Prepare evidence
      • Screenshots of the warning.
      • Proof of ownership (your domain, business info).
      • A statement confirming the site is clean and legitimate.
    4. Check your site health before submitting
      • Scan with VirusTotal.
      • Verify SSL is valid and all pages load over HTTPS.
      • Run a malware scan on your hosting.
