Hi! Jacques. Thanks for the details and for bringing this up, I'm here to help.

Here’s a step-by-step guide depending on whether you’re using desktop, mobile, or web:

Option 1: Microsoft Teams on Web

    1. Go to https://teams.microsoft.com.
    2. Click Sign in.
    3. Enter your Microsoft account email (Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com, or any Microsoft 365 account).
    4. Enter your password (or approve with Microsoft Authenticator if enabled).
    5. You’ll be redirected to your Teams dashboard where you can join or create teams.

Option 2: Microsoft Teams Desktop App

    1. Download Teams from: Download Microsoft Teams.
    2. Install and launch the app.
    3. On the sign-in page, enter your Microsoft account email.
    4. Authenticate with your password or 2FA.
    5. Once signed in, you’ll see your Teams and Channels.

Option 3: Microsoft Teams Mobile App

    1. Download Microsoft Teams from Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iPhone).
    2. Open the app → Sign in.
    3. Enter your Microsoft account email and password.
    4. You’re now connected to Teams.

    Just remember:

    • If it’s a work/school Teams account, you’ll need the login from your organization (not a personal Microsoft account).
    • If it’s a personal Teams, your Outlook/Hotmail/Live email will work.
    • If someone invites you, check your email invite and click Join Teams to link your account automatically.

    Best regards,

    Kimberly
