The new version of Outlook is missing critical parts to do my job. Where can I find the Quick Step to create a new email? I've found where it should go, but there is no option to create a new email like the Classic version. I have coworkers that are just as frustrated as me so please offer a work around. Thanks.2025-09-12 11_26_41-

Unfortunately, previously created templates available in the old Outlook desktop application are are NOT accessible in the New Outlook. Every solution I've seen in a Google search is simply wrong. It shows this sad little snippet thing, but NOT templates, no way to navigate to the folder where your existing templates are. It's not like this is some, one off, marginal thing that 5 people used. To not port this over says so much about the poor development process MS has.

If you are using a Microsoft type account such as outlook.com, you can save a mail template so that you can reuse content. You can use the My Templates add-in. Note that using the add-in has certain limitations. You can simply use it to insert text snippets into an e-mail. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/office/create-an-email-message-template-43ec7142-4dd0-4351-8727-bd0977b6b2d1 .

    Hi Jennifer,

But please note that some actions that used to be in Classic Outlook quick step are not support in new outlook yet, such as the new email to.

new Outlook is still getting features ported over and it is still under the process of migrating the features to be implemented.

The best course of action here is to provide a feedback by following the steps on this article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/contact-support-and-provide-feedback-in-new-outlook-for-windows-4a4bcc80-c71e-4e44-97c1-d0e62452ef4a#bkmk_providefeedback
