Cannot provision VM

I am trying to create an Standard_E2S_v5 VM in US East 2 region and I received the approval to use it. After provisioning, it times out after 40 min without creating the VM. I know this happened before also on a separate subscription and had to call customer support. Is there a fix for it yet?

    @CryptoFarmer

    Firstly, apologies for the delay in responding here and any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

    Usually if your subscription has quota enabled on a specific region provisioning of VM is possible.

    There could be 2 reasons for this failure:

    1. Non availability of resources in that specific region:
      This could be a temporary issue, please try with different VM size and in a different region to rule out this issue.
      1. Issue with image used to provision VM:

    If a VM deployment started and has timeout after 40 mins, this means OS Provisioning for VM for the image you selected did not finish in the allotted time. The VM may still finish provisioning successfully in few cases.
    Please check if the VM has been provisioned, if VM was successfully created, but the deployment might have timed out being unable to get the most recent guest agent status.

    Reasons could be:
    The image used for this VM might not have been properly generalized, causing the image as being undeployable.
    The RD agent service (guest agent) service might be disabled.

    Please try with different image to rule out this issue.

    Hope this helps.
