On 9/12 I took my PC out of sleep and opened outlook. I had a OneDrive splash on my screen telling me that I hadn't backed up my system. I chose to back up my so I selected to do that. The black square screen came up showing the backup was in process. 9/13 afternoon I opened my PC again and I still had the black square. I thought about it and I thought the program had hung up. At this time, I shut all apps down and rebooted. When I tried to open Outlook, it tried to open file John25 that file is in my file listings but is not used. I use one of the three files that is my email address ******@gmail.com. I selected one of those and got Outlook back. My send and receive icon or fF9 don't work to get my email. The files in Excell are three (3) months behind Instead of showing 9/1/2025 it shows 6/1/2025 I have a picture showing the send receive response but san't see any place to send it.

Hello, welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

For Outlook issues where you can't send or receive emails, you can open Settings > Apps, find and uninstall Outlook in the installed apps list. After uninstalling, download and reinstall it from the Microsoft Store. Then log in to your email again to see if this resolves the issue.

For OneDrive issues, I'll need a screenshot to understand the situation. You can upload an icon below:

These are my thoughts and suggestions, and I hope they're helpful.
