How do i fix an BSoD loop?

Yesterday my pc got a BSoD (I didnt remember the code, maybe "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL", and after that it started looping before the login screen with "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED". After 3-4 tries it tried automatic repair that didnt help, and trying again also got no result. Today is the same issue. I didnt try anything else or fixing it myself since i could make it worse.

Are you able to access the recovery environment using these steps?

Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

Do this twice

On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt... etc.

Please try each option one at a time, then see if Windows will boot up correctly.

If there is an option to uninstall the latest update, that may be the best option.

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - System Restore

Check to see if you have a restore point you can go back to.

If you do not have a Restore Point, go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Startup Settings and click Restart

Upon restart, press 5 to enter Safe Mode

Are you able to access Safe Mode, and if so, is your system stable in Safe Mode.

I tried doing each option one at a time. Firstly, I couldnt uninstall the latest update for some reason. Secondly, I havent got any restore points. And then I entered safe mode with network as you said, I clicked 5 for that. It started and finished scanning the disk, but after that got another BSoD with the same "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED" when loading into the system, and after that I got into Recovery Environment again. I also tried getting into safe mode without disk checking, but it BSoD'ed again when I couldn't even load to disk checking (once again an "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED"), and after that one more Recovery Environment.

If all other options are failing to resolve the problem, and you are unable to access Safe Mode, open Command Prompt in the recovery environment.

Run this command and press Enter:

sfc /scannow

When that completes, run this command and press Enter.

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

When that command completes, restart your PC to check if Windows will start normally.

If not, you may need to use the Windows Reset option, while choosing to keep your files, but your apps would need to be re-installed after that process.

I tried doing what you told me, got into command prompt in recovery environment, typed /sfc scannow. After the scanning finished to 100%, it said "Windows resource protection cannot perform the requested operation" (Translated from Russian). Tried doing it again, told me the exact same thing. Tried the second command, but it said (All translated from Russian): "System DISM", "Version: 10.0.17763.1", "Error: 50", "DISM does not support servicing Windows PE using the /Online option. The DISM log file is located at X:\windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log". It means bad, right?.. So, if I really have to use the Windows Reset option, what files would be kept? I still got some really old family photos, or old (kinda lost media) games on it and im scared about all of it, and by "apps" do you mean all .exe files or something?

If those commands did not resolve the problem, then a Windows reset only affects the C drive and is only indicated to keep files stored in your user folder on the C drive.

Try this process to backup your files.

Open Command Prompt in the recovery environment.

Type notepad.exe and press Enter.

Notepad should open

Select File - Open.

You should be able to use the Open File dialog like a small File Explorer window to copy out your files onto a USB drive.

Sorry, I think i misunderstood a bit. Which exactly disks will be erased/deleted or whatever will happen to them if I reset, and which disks/folders will be saved?

If you use the Windows reset option, that only affects the C drive provided you do not select the option to clean all the drives, choose to keep your files, then any files you have stored in your user folder will be saved during the option and all other drives will be unaffected by the process.
