I accidentally deleted the microosft authenticator app and when trying to restore my account I need to restore it using two factor meaning email and mobile number. I thought the code for mobile wasn't sending so requested it multiple times . It was just a delay of 5 mins and I happened to request it 4-5 times and my account is now locked. What's worse is that whenever I try to request a code to be sent to my mobile number it keeps saying to try another verifation method. I've been trying this everyday of the week and keeps saying to try another verification method, what do I do?

    Hi! My name is Aj and Im an Independent Advisor here to help! Im sorry to hear about your account. Since your account is locked I would suggest to try loggin in after 24 hours lock out period.

    Once 24hours is up try logging in using different browser, use inprivate mode, use different device, clear your browser's cache.

    If it still locked go to this link https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/account-has-been-locked-805e8b0d-4141-29b2-7b65-df6ff6c9ce27 this is the guide for locked account. It will also ask you to use the "sign in helper" tool.

    If none of this works proceed in submitting an account recovery tool at https://account.live.com/acsr and fill it with as much information as you can. After submission please allow 24-48 hours for verification.
