hi dharmaraj! that is so frustrating when you are excited to learn and hit a roadblock with the student email.
the azure for students offer requires a very specific type of email address. it must be an official email provided by your school, and the school itself must be recognized and verified in microsoft's system. sometimes personal college emails or ones from newer institutions do not work right away.
first, double check that you are using the exact email address your college gave you for official communication. it often ends in .edu or has the school's name in the domain. if you are using a different email, that is likely the problem.
if your school email still does not work, the next step is to contact your college's it department. they are the ones who manage the relationship with microsoft for these student benefits. they might need to verify the domain or enroll in the program. they will know the exact process.
also, you can try reaching out to azure support for education directly. they can look up your school and see if there is an issue on their end. https://learn.microsoft.com/azure/education-hub/azure-dev-tools-teaching/program-faq
while you sort this out, remember you can still start learning on coursera. many of the courses use free tools or provide temporary sandboxes to practice in, so you will not fall behind.
this might help in other verification scenarios too.
hope you get access soon. do not give up.
Best regards,
Alex
