Why does my multiple display keep closing down when opening up another display?

My display has started closing down when I initially open up my laptop. I have three displays - the laptop is display 1, and then I have two more - displays 2 & 3 on the settings. I have had this set up for the last 3 years with no issues. Recently, when I open Microsoft Edge on Display 3, it opens a new window but not the window that I had previously closed. I have to right click and 'Reopen closed window'. I then open File Explorer on Display 1 and it closes Microsoft Edge in Display 3. I then open File Explorer again in Display 1. I then open Google Chrome on Display 2 & it opens a new window but not the window that I had previously closed. I then have to right click and 'Reopen closed window' and then File Explorer closes. Eventually after a few minutes, of doing all of the above, all three displays stay open and I can work as normal without anything closing. It is only on start up when I first come into work.

Can I ask if the issue just started recently? May I know your whole setup, GPU, and monitors being used for the multiple display. (please include if using Display port, HDMI, VGA)
