If Explorer only shows your network folders after pressing F5, it usually means Windows isn’t refreshing the network view on its own so start by making sure Network Discovery and File Sharing are turned on, since that controls whether your PC actively looks for shared devices. Also check that the services Function Discovery Provider Host and Function Discovery Resource Publication are set to Automatic and running, because those are what let Explorer find and update network resources in real time. If things still lag, try clearing Explorer’s cache (so it doesn’t keep showing an outdated view) and update your network adapter driver directly from HP’s site, since newer drivers often fix refresh and connectivity quirks.
