I want to access my university email address but whenever I want to sign up/in it leads me to Microsoft authenticator, which I have installed, but it never works. On my laptop they give me a code but I never receive the request on the authenticator app. I don't know how to get the request and nothing seems to work. I need my email as soon as possible. Error Code: 500121

I have had a similar issue happen to me in the past with my work account at the office - is your phone with the auth app connected to wifi? I have noticed when I disconnect from Wi-Fi and resend, it came though for me.
My phone is connected to wifi and I've tried on other phones but nothing is working.
did you try to disconnect from the Wi-Fi on your phone and resend while connected to your cell service?
