How to connect MySQL database in Power BI?

Despite installing the MySQL Connector (.NET and ODBC), MySQL Installer, and Visual C++ Redistributable on my system, I am still unable to establish a connection between Power BI and my MySQL database. Power BI keeps throwing the same vague error: "One or more components need to be installed."

This is quite frustrating because the error message doesn’t clearly indicate which specific component is missing or misconfigured. I’d really appreciate if someone could guide me on the exact steps or prerequisites needed to successfully connect Power BI with MySQL.

Has anyone faced this issue before, and if so, how did you resolve it?
