i need to change my phone number on my account but it’s saying i need to wait 30 days ? My computer is locked and i don’t have access to anything without. why is the wait time so long

    Unfortunately, if the system is only giving you the option to add the new phone number, then the 30-day wait period is something you’ll need to go through. This security measure is in place to protect accounts from unauthorized access, and even Microsoft Support isn’t able to speed it up.

    Can you confirm if you still have access to your Microsoft account online, or are you completely locked out right now?
