I have a DELL EMC Poweredge T140 with Windows Server 2016 Essentials connected to an APC Back-Up Pro 550 UPS. The UPS provides Hibernate instruction via the USB to the server on power loss ( a problem we have here; today a lightning strike tripped the power breakers again)
How can I enable the server to respond to the Hibernate instruction and shut itself down before the battery runs out?

I have the APC software installed and this is the message I get when it loads. Before I bought the new server and the MS 2016 Essentials the APC software shut down the server quite well, no problems.
I had some feed back from DELL about enabling the functionality but is doesn't prompt Windows to show the Hibernate feature.
Where are the settings I need to change to the allow the UPS to instruct the server to hibernate?
You can try here.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-client/deployment/disable-and-re-enable-hibernation
but note that hibernate is generally a desktop operating system feature.
