Azure MFA Issue -

Hello,

I'm having some issues getting back into my Azure directory.

My phone blocked notifications and sms for authenticating and I removed MFA (unlinked it from Authenticator) in an attempt to fix it. However, now I cannot log back into my Azure directory and cannot add the account back in Authenticator as it's asking me to approve the code in my Authenticator, which never arrives.

I have since changed settings on my phone and now notifications from Microsoft Authenticator and SMS codes work properly (tested with another account) but still the problem with the broken MFA remains.

I am the sole administrator of the tenant, as this is a development, personal account.

I have tried the suggestions from this thread - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/2237947/azure-wants-6-digits-code-but-authenticator-genera - but I cannot touch the account at all, it always gets me to a point where I need to approve an Authenticator prompt that never comes
