Hi ashley ansara
If you have just purchased an Azure subscription and are new to Azure, here’s a simple guide to help you get started and connect so you can start screening your computers for bugs:
Step 1: Access the Azure Portal
Visit https://portal.azure.com and sign in with the credentials associated with your new Azure subscription.
Step 2: Ensure Your Subscription is Active
Confirm your subscription is active and has no billing or access restrictions. You can check this under "Subscriptions" in the Azure portal.
Step 3: Set Up Your Azure User Account and Permissions
If you are the account owner, you already have full permissions.
If you are not the owner, ensure you have been assigned the correct role (such as Owner, Contributor) to create and manage resources.
You can create additional users or assign roles in Azure Active Directory if needed.
Step 4: Enable Vulnerability Scanning Tools
- Use Microsoft Defender for Cloud to enable vulnerability scanning on your Azure virtual machines. This tool helps detect security risks and bugs on your computers.
- If you do not have virtual machines yet, you will need to create or connect your machines to Azure.
You can mark it 'Accept Answer' if this helped you
