I'm at my wits end after spending 4-5 hours on this problem.... I setup a child account under microsoft family and purchased minecraft for my son. I've gone in to both the microsoft family app AND the Xbox family app and allowed multiplayer for my son's account. When we startup minecraft, java edition, on his PC, the multiplayer option is not available. It says disabled and "please check your microsoft account settings". I've reviewed countless help articles on this subject and simply cannot get it to work. I've uninstalled/re-installed the game multiple times. please, please, please help!
