Autocomplete function on Outlook Web App not working

The autocomplete stopped working on my Outlook web app. All of the support advice I can find on the internet is related to the desktop version of Outlook, which is not relevant / helpful to the web app. It has been like this all day despite opening different browsers and restarting the computer. I cannot seem to access any autocomplete elements in the web app. Would greatly appreciate help on this.

    Hello there,

    This feature uses your recent recipients and contacts to suggest addresses when you type in To, Cc, or Bcc. If nothing appears, first make sure you are signed in at outlook.office.com and your account is syncing. Clearing your browser cache and cookies and signing in again often fixes temporary issues.

    Autocomplete also updates as you send new emails, so sending a few messages can restore the suggestions.
