Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi @Suhas Kesari,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
To properly diagnose and fix the issues you're experiencing, please kindly help me provide the following details. I need to determine if the issue is with the application itself or your account/credentials:
Outlook
- Which version is the error occurring on? (Outlook App or Outlook Web?). If it's the app, please help me try signing in via the web browser to see if that works normally.
- Please send me a full screenshot of the complete error message you are receiving.
- Have you tried signing in using a different network or a different device?
Teams
Please try signing in to Teams via the web browser to see if you can access it there.
Please send me a full screenshot of the complete error message you are receiving.
Have you tried signing in using a different network (e.g., a mobile hotspot) or a different device?
"Privileged Access" Error
The error message “Privileged Access” when attempting to re-add your account is highly specific.
This means:
- Your user account does not have sufficient permission to perform the device enrollment.
- The action is likely being blocked by a security policy or a specific access rule set by your organization.
Could you please help me provide the following details:
- Is this computer an end-user machine belonging to your organization?
- Do you know who your organization's IT Admin is? To resolve this error permanently, you will likely need to contact your IT Admin as they are the only ones who can access the Entra Admin Center to check the device enrollment status and security policies.
Here are general steps you can perform on your device. These steps are non-destructive and will not affect your computer. If the errors persist after trying these, we must contact your IT Admin, as the issue is likely tied to organizational policies or settings only they can access.
Outlook
- Open Credential Manager in Windows > Delete all saved entries related to Outlook or Office365. Credential Manager in Windows - Microsoft Support
- Perform a Quick Repair or Online Repair of your Office installation. Please kindly help me follow Repair an Office application - Microsoft Support
- As a last resort, uninstall and reinstall the Office suite.
Teams App
- Clear the Teams cache, choose your method suit with your device. Clear the Teams client cache - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn
- Open Credential Manager > Delete all saved entries related to Teams or Office365. Credential Manager in Windows - Microsoft Support
- Perform a Repair on Office. Repair an Office application - Microsoft Support
- Uninstall and reinstall the Teams application.
- Restart your computer.
"Privileged Access" Error
You must contact your company's IT Admin directly. They will need to check the Entra Admin Center (Devices) to ensure your device is properly registered and compliant, which is an access level only they possess.
