Reinstalling Win 11

I have an HP AIO that I purchased on EBay with Win 11 installed.

Lately, it has been acting weird, such as clicking on share on a Facebook article or comment, and the entire article opens; having to hold mouse button for 1-2 seconds for whatever I want to do, such as open an article, share, etc., right click to highlight something and I have to pause or the highlighted area is lost.

How can I reinstall Win 11? I've backed-up all my files and created a restore point.

Appreciate any help on this.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

Reinstall Windows 11 by following the steps below:

  1. Press "Windows + I" and select "System > Recovery";
  2. On "Reset this PC", click "Reset PC";
  3. Choose:
  • Keep my files (removes apps/settings but keeps personal files)
  • Remove everything (full wipe)
  1. Then, follow the on-screen instructions.

If you experience any issues while trying this procedure or the reinstallation fails, please let me know, and I will provide an alternative method.

Feel free to ask back any questions.
