Unable to delete a SQL Virtual Machine (and unable to now log a support ticket since all the AI rubbish has been turned on).

Get this error but the supporting documentation tells me nothing. I literally just want to delete the SQL Virtual Machine. Any ideas?

Do you have Global Administrator or Application Administrator privileges in the Azure AD tenant? If not please reach with tenant admin available who can enable the service principal.

Please suggest tenant admin to navigate: Microsoft Entra ID >> Enterprise applications >>

Remove all the filters and search for the application

Microsoft AAD app SQLVMResourceProviderAuth (bd93b475-f9e2-476e-963d-b2daf143ffb9)

Below is the example where (GraphAggregatorService) is the application:User's image

Once you are able to find the app, select the app and then go to properties >> toggle to Yes under "Enabled for users to sign-in"

Please "Accept the answer" if the information helped you. This will help us and others in the community as well.
