I cannot upload OneDrive file to M365 Copilot chat

I have an active subscription for Microsoft 365 personal. However, when I attempted to upload a file (saved in OneDrive of the same account.) An error message was shown as follows. I tried the trouble-shooting keys and checked all items but still unable to do so. I tried to use the web version of M365Chat on the same file and it works. Is there any solution as I wish to handly use M365Chat by using the installed apps in my laptop. ThanksUser's image

    Hi Amy Chiu, thank you for reaching out. I understand you're using Microsoft 365 Personal and facing issues uploading files to M365 Chat via the desktop app, even though it works in the web version. I know how important it is to have a smooth experience on your laptop or desktop.

    May i know what troubleshoot have you tried?

    To resolve the upload issue in M365 Chat, ensure OneDrive is syncing properly and you're signed in with the same account; clear the app cache by deleting files in %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams or %appdata%\Microsoft\M365Chat, update the app via the profile menu, confirm both OneDrive and M365 Chat use the same Microsoft account, and if needed, unlink and re-link OneDrive through its settings to re-sync your files.

    Hi Lucky Charm,

    Thank you for your reply. I have synced my OneDrive Personal (showing it is up to date). I signed in both OneDrive, M365 Chat and M365 offices under the same Microsoft account. I am not sure if the problem is due to my another OneDrive account (which is an alumni account). I need to keep it for the moment as I saved some of my works there.

    However, I have been trying to upload a file which is stored on my personal OneDrive account.

    I have confirmed that my alumni OneDrive account did not login. I have tried the following steps:-

    1. Check and Update office apps in Word
    2. Clear office cache
    3. Uninstall and reinstall M365 Copilot
    4. Unlink both OneDrive accounts and only connect to my personal OneDrive account (but as mentioned above, I still need to connect my alumni account)
    5. Checked that i just connect one Microsoft account (and I think I only have one)
    6. reset Office identity cache

    Furthermore, I find that I cannot see any template (remain grey loading screens) under the “Create” section. Is it something that may also contribute to my problem?
