printer can't copy from noptepad

ET-3850 can't copy from notepad tried several times but no print.

    Hi,

    When you try to print from Notepad, does your ET-3850 actually show up in the printer list and does Windows act like it’s sending the job (maybe even showing it for a second in the print queue)? I’m also curious if the issue is only with Notepad or if you’ve noticed the same thing when printing from other programs like Word, a browser, or even when running a Windows test page. And just to rule things out, if you press the Copy button right on the printer and place a page on the scanner glass, does it copy fine, or does that fail too?
