Query: track change button functions should appear on main ribbon and not in drop down

The track change functions and also whether its mode is on/ off should appear on main ribbon and not in drop down. It has been put in drop down post certain update and was much user friendly in earlier version. Refer screen shot below to understand:

    If the Word window is large enough to show the "complete" ribbon, you will see the Track Changes button highlighted when it is active (see the screen shot below).

    Screen size and resolution for your device, as well as the size of the Word window, will decide if groups on the ribbon are expanded or collapsed.

    I think that the “Accept” and “Reject” buttons appear separately in case of larger screen or window.

    To reserve more space, maybe you can carefully remove some rarely used (or recently added) buttons. (Go to File tab, Options, Customize Ribbon). Or define a new tab containing desired commands.

    My experience is that it’s always been in the drop down.

    whether its mode is on/ off should appear on main ribbon

    If it’s ON it will already appear in the Main Ribbon as a highlighted item.
