While installing CAD software on a new laptop, the error "Microsoft SQL Server failed to install. Attempted to perform an unauthorized operation." came up. There was no error code.

    Hi there,

    I would suggest you check the requirements for the CAD tool and install all the required package for the CAD tool. Also, a general suggestion would be to update the PC.
    Try checking up their website and install all the Applications you can also try contacting their support.
