Windows 11 24H2 build 6725 was an ethernet disaster - how did this pass testing?

Ethernet adapters can not transmit internet after installing 26100.6725.

I have a LAN with lots of Win 11 computers, worked for hours to figure out lack of internet connectivity was due to Windows build.

Issue submitted to Feedback Hub as "build 6725 breaks ethernet".

As a developer and Engineering Mgr I would be embarassed to submit this code to GA.

I rolled back about 10 Windows computers to the prior build for a 'fix'.

How does this happen? (and MS is worried about Windows acceptance?)

    Hi ron fucci,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. I'm happy to help.

Sorry for hearing that internet does not work on your Windows 11 upgrade.

Please provide your ethernet chipset and model so I can check. It might your ethernet chipset needs a new driver on Windows 11 and does not share the same driver with Windows 10.
