So I turned on my PC and I noticed my user profile was gone. I checked the local disk in the users folder and it was gone; just one that says public remains. Is my user profile just gone? Or is there any way to get it back?

Open File Explorer > click 3 dots > Options
Select View tab, click Reset Folders > Yes
Click OK

Please try to restart your computer four times (not shutdown), each time allowing your PC to get to the Desktop before the next restart. This usually resolves the issue.

It seems that my profile was marked as hidden somehow. I tried simply un checking that box but it didnt seem to fully work. Is there something I can do so I dont have to dig through all the files and uncheck the boxes one by one?
