Kernel-Power Event 41

Hi, I have been encountering what seems to be a sudden power loss issue with my new Lenovo Ideapad Slim 5 (Ryzen 7 8845 HS) which randomly happened during heavy load, in my case whenever I'm playing games.

What puzzled me is that there's not really an apparent pattern/trigger, it just happens every now and then. I tried many of the solution found online, which includes turning off fast boot, adjusting power settings, updating driver and BIOS but to no avail. No matter if the charger is plugged in or not, whether energy savings is turned off or not, whether it's on performance mode or not, it would still happen.

The confusing part is, sometimes I'm recording with OBS while playing games which should theoretically put the hardware under a lot of stress, yet the issue does not occur. But then another time I'm just opening the game and looking at the in-game menu, not playing anything nor having anything in the background opened but it will lose power all of a sudden and restarts on its own.\

One thing I noticed the past 24 hours is it happens once or twice when the device auto-sleeps while still opening a game, and then when I wake it up it will then restart in about 10 second. But I have only noticed that in the past 24 hours or so, while this Issue has been happening practically out of the box about a week ago.

What gives?

Hi, thanks for the detailed information. As per checking and analyzing the event files you have, there are general errors in the event files. Moreover, kindly follow the steps below for us to fix the issue:

Method 1. Reinstall Battery Drivers (Skip this process if you have already tried to uninstall all drivers under the batteries)

-Press the Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Batteries

-Right-click, then uninstall all drivers there

-Restart the PC and check it again

Method 2. Restore default power options

-Press Windows key + R then type:

    powercfg -restoredefaultschemes

    -Restart the PC and check.

    Method 3. Run power, Troubleshooter

    • Press Windows key + R then type:
    msdt.exe /id PowerDiagnostic

    • Click OK, then follow the prompts to run the power troubleshooter.

    -Restart the device after.

Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

I understand the issue you have. There is nothing to worry about. I am here to assist. Based on your inputs, it seems that there is a power loss from the board or a power shortage. In this case, can you please check the System logs on the PC so I can further examine the root cause of the issue?

To do this, kindly follow the steps from this link:
