I need to reset the notification loop. One of the users keeps getting "Welcome to Azure DevOps" notification every hour. How can we stop that?

check the user's organization access in Azure DevOps. Go to your Azure DevOps organization settings, then "Users" and find the affected person. If you see multiple entries or any strange status like "pending" or "limited", remove the user completely and then re-add them properly. This often resets the notification trigger.
Also look at the user's group memberships. Sometimes being in multiple groups with conflicting permissions can cause these notification loops. Try removing them from all groups temporarily, then add them back to just the essential ones they need.
Another place to check is the organization's security settings. Look for any access policy conflicts or conditional access rules that might be causing repeated access attempts and triggering the welcome email each time.

As an admin, you might want to check the organization's audit logs to see what event is triggering these hourly welcome notifications. The pattern might reveal which specific action is causing the loop.
If none of these steps work, you might need to contact Azure DevOps support directly with the user's details and your organization name. They can investigate the backend logs to identify what's causing the persistent notification trigger.
