Hi Team Members,

I am facing the BSOD error on my machine which is Lenovo legion 5 - 15ar0h5, Processor AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics, 2900 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)

Windows Edition : windows 11 home single language

version : 24h2

os build : 26100.6725

My window machine is up to date with latest version and with latest drivers, I run windows diagnosis ram test and memtest86 for ram , which both are pass with no issues and this things I do multiple times, also I have done the fresh installation of windows 24h2 version and as well windows 23h2 version also , then after some days after fresh installation I face this BSOD errors.

BSOD error when occurs show different codes, I show some hardware specialist also and they said your hardware components are working fine, and also clear all dust and from my machine . and also change the thermal pads as well as paste as my laptop is four years old.

Please suggest some solution, it will be a great help.

The minidumps indicate that the crashes were caused by drivers associated with the AMD processor.

BSOD issues do not survive a clean install (fresh install) unless they are caused by third-party software or hardware issues.

Please clarify the following:

You say you have the latest drivers. How did you verify this? Through Device Manager, third-party software, or Lenovo Vantage?

Thanks for reply.

Using Lenovo Vantage, as I update my system with this app, and every drivers are up to date.

Bios is also up to date as I update with latest version using my manufacture website.

In device manager I don't see any yellow sign which indicates the driver is not installed.

You can typically access it via the BOOT menu or directly through the BIOS setup. On many Lenovo laptops, this involves pressing a key like F2, F10, or Enter right after powering on the system, often guided by an on-screen prompt.

Look for an option labeled "Diagnostics", "UEFI Diagnostics", or something similar. This allows you to run basic hardware tests without relying on the operating system.

Sorry for the delay in reply. I've been offline.

I understand how frustrating this situation can be. Unfortunately, some cases of instability can be challenging and require multiple procedures to find the cause of the problem, especially when there aren't many clues as to the cause, as in your case.

The last minidump doesn't mention any drivers, only a generic system file.

The Lenovo Vantage diagnostics display a Bluetooth warning with the message "No device was found." A significant issue with the Bluetooth adapter can cause system instability.

Please do the following:

Press "Windows + X" and select "Device Manager";

Click on the "View" menu and select "Show hidden devices";

Expand "Bluetooth";

(If you don't have the Bluetooth category, let me know.)

If the Bluetooth adapter is listed, right-click and select "Properties". Check if there is an error in "Device Status". If you see an error under Device Status, please share a screenshot.

If you can't identify the Bluetooth adapter, please share a screenshot of the devices under the Bluetooth category.

Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

Last night I started the diagnostic and leave my system to finish all tests run by Lenovo Vantage app, for Bluetooth I have no issues as I am able to use my Bluetooth devices like headphones and also I checked in device manager and all the options listed under Bluetooth are showing Device is working properly.

One more thing I want share that when I got the BSOD error so I run the following commands using command prompt:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

sfc /scannow

I do this after the system restarts when BSOD error, and sometimes my laptop screen struck and I am not able to do anything, so I have to do restart forcefully using power button of my laptop.

Please help me on this.

The properties window you opened is not your Bluetooth adapter, but from Device Manager, I can already see that there are no apparent problems with your device's Intel Bluetooth adapter.

The minidumps you shared mention a driver associated with the AMD processor and generic system drivers.

I suggest you use the Driver Verifier utility. This utility is used to force the system to show the driver causing the problem.

Before turning on Driver Verifier, I like to create a restore point just in case. I suggest doing the same.

Turn on Driver Verifier, let the system crash 3 times, then turn off Driver Verifier. Share the minidumps that the crashes created.

Press Win + R, type verifier, and press Enter;

Select Create custom settings (for code developers) and click Next;

Check these options:

Pool Tracking

I/O Verification

Deadlock Detection

DMA Checking

Security Checks

Force pending I/O requests

IRP Logging

Miscellaneous Checks

DDI compliance checking

Select Select driver names from a list;

Sort by Provider and choose all non-Microsoft drivers;

Click Finish and restart your computer. Driver Verifier will now monitor the selected drivers.

(Pay attention to the blue screen that is displayed. Sometimes, it may contain useful information.)

After the system crashes at least 3 times, follow the procedure below to disable the Driver Verifier.

Open Start and type cmd, right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.

Run the following commands at the Command Prompt one at a time:

verifier /reset verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail

Then, restart the PC.

If the system no longer starts due to BSOD caused by the Driver Verifier, start it in Safe Mode and perform the above procedure to disable Driver Verifier.
