If BitLocker says your key is wrong, you can try this steps bellow :
- Check the Key ID on the lock screen => it must match the one on Microsoft’s recovery page : https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey.
- Make sure it’s the right device => if you have more than one, pick the correct one.
- Try other accounts => the key might be under a different Microsoft, work, or school account.
- If it’s a work PC, contact your IT => the key could be in Azure AD.
- If no key works, there’s no way around it => you’ll need to reinstall Windows.
