Trouble activating Win 11

I have a working and licenced/activated win 10 computer that does not meet win 11 specs. I have purchased a new computer for win 11. I have successfully installed win 11 on the new computer. I cannot activate. Clicking on Troubleshoot, I then click "I recently changed hardware ...". That returns a screen that says "we can't find any devices linked to your microsoft account ..." When I log in to my microsoft account I can "see" my win 10 and win 11 computers. The "troubleshoot" error code is 0x803FA067. My win 10 computer was purchased back in 2013. At the time I purchased a retail version of Win 8 and installed. Over time I've followed the upgrade path without problem. I have also tried activating win 11 with my win 8 product key and get error 0x80041014. All versions are win pro. A solution will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

All versions (8, 10, 11) are win pro ... is that what you meant by "edition"?

    Hello,

You aren't able to use Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 product keys to activate Windows 11 anymore, hence the error code you're getting.

Could you tell me the edition of Windows you're running? The troubleshooter can sometimes run into errors when the edition of Windows installed does not match the edition of Windows on the digital license.

Hope to hear back from you.
