A Microsoft app for iOS and Android devices that enables authentication with two-factor verification, phone sign-in, and code generation
Can't connect in my microsof account ******@hotmail.com
Guys, I had the Microsoft Authenticator app on my phone, but then I changed my phone’s lock pattern (the one you draw with your finger). After that, I tried to “renew pattern” on my account ******@hotmail.com , but the app kept giving me an error — something like “couldn’t renew pattern.” It just wouldn’t work at all.
So I deleted the app. And even though my Hotmail account is still connected on my PC, I can’t do anything — not even access the security options for my account — because it keeps asking me to use the Authenticator app, which I no longer have.
If I try to authenticate using my phone, it sends a confirmation to the device, but then says there are no keys or IDs and gives an error.
If I try to log in using my password, it says “too many requests” and fails.
Everything I try gives an error. How am I supposed to access my account now???
I still have my phone for SMS and the recovery email, but that step never shows up — it just crashes on this stupid thing.
