Hello,

I am in the process of migrating to a Server 2019 Terminal Server environment, during the process I am still required to support the current Server 2008 R2 environment.
The environment was not setup by me, so there are some wierd configs that I cannot get my head around.

The biggest of which is the Roaming Profile Size restriction (This is obviously before UPD days)

There is no GPO setup for "Limit the size of the entire roaming user profile cache"
There are no Disk quotas setup

User profiles are redirected via GPO
Folders redirected are:
Desktop
Documents
Downloads
Favorites

The total profile size is limited to 5gb - I know this because some users have reached the limit and can no longer write to their profiles.

Where else can I look for the restriction setting?
I have checked GPO - Limit the size of the entire roaming user profile cache
I have checked disk quotas
I have checked registry entries

    Hi,
There are two group policy which could limit the roaming profile size:
    Limit profile size
    User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\User Profiles

Limit the size of the entire roaming user profile cache
    Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Profiles

Kindly check if these policies have been updated successfully. Or you could run gpupdate /force after enable above policies.

Moreover, there is a KB talking about the GPO "Limit the size of the entire roaming user profile cache" Group Policy setting does not work in Windows Server 2008 R2
