Problem with Tiles

Hello,

I am repeatedly encountering the following error during the certification process, which prevents my application from being published in the Microsoft Store:

Report details

10.1.1.11 On Device Tiles

Product tiles cannot include imagery from a product that is not published by you.

Package with Violation: Task Matrix New

I have carefully reviewed the "Metadata is key" section of your App Quality guidelines and have recreated every icon and tile for my application from scratch. I have even deleted the entire Assets folder and generated a brand new set of images, ensuring they are unique and created solely by me.

However, I keep receiving the same error, and the reason for the violation is still unclear to me.

All graphics used in the product package are my own original artworks and are not based on, nor do they resemble, any other products.

The icons are not default images, and I have not used any images from other published products.

I have already published similar icons for my apps without issues.

Could you please clarify:

Which specific image or tile in my package does not meet the requirements?

How does it resemble, or get interpreted as, imagery from another published product?

What concrete steps can I take to resolve this and ensure the assets comply with Microsoft Store policies?

I would appreciate more specific feedback or examples regarding the violation, as the current error message does not explain what the actual issue is.

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hi Сергей Руденко,

Thank you for providing those additional details. To help me investigate this specific 10.1.1.11 error, could you please clarify a few points?

    • Timing of Previous Publications: You mentioned you have "already published similar icons for my apps without issues." (How similar are they?) Could you tell me how long ago those apps were successfully certified? Knowing if it was recently or years ago helps identify if this is a new enforcement of an existing policy.
    • Developer Account: Are you submitting this current app, "Task Matrix New," under the same Microsoft developer account that you used to publish the apps with similar icons?
    • Full Error Code: The certification report often contains a longer, more specific error code for tracking. Please share the complete alphanumeric code (it may look something like 0x8xxxxxxx). This gives me more detailed diagnostic information.

I recommend a careful review of the policy to confirm your assets meet all requirements:

Please let me know what you find out.
