VM replicated to Azure needs moved to new vCenter

If we have a set of VM's currently being replicated using ASR, what would the process be to move the VM from its current vcenter environment to a new one being built out. I'm hoping the replication wouldn't need to be started from new and that a separate appliance would be able to pick up the VM once moved. Apologize if this has been asked previously, have tried several different searches to no avail. Thanks for the help.

Hello @James Louk - Thank you for your post!

    Take a look here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/vmware-azure-manage-vcenter#migrate-all-vms-to-a-new-server

The documentation indicates how to do so, based on the needs of some servers, all servers, or most servers. As it stands, since the VMs are currently in Azure, you’d need to re-protect and failback the VMs in Azure that you want on the old vCenter. After that you can follow the steps in the documentation.

No matter which method you pick, if you use ASR to move between vCenters, you’ll have to failover to Azure, re-protect to the new vCenter, and then failover back to on-premises.

Refer to the doc - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/vmware-azure-reprotect#before-you-start
