change security code to 6 digits

Question

How do I reduce the security code from 8 digits to 6 digits? I tried turning password on and off. Nothing changed. I am using iPhone 12.

Thanks for reaching out. These settings are on the iPhone itself. I'm not sure what it is on iPhone 12 but for most phones it should be something like this:

Settings > Face ID & Passcode > Passcode Options

Otherwise it may also be under:

Settings > Touch ID and Passcode > enter 6 digit code
