    Are you trying to add it for sign-in and security verification, or to link your phone as a device?

    Can you please try to go to account.microsoft.com, sign in, select “Your info,” then “Manage how you sign in to Microsoft,” and choose “Add phone number.”

    Follow the steps to verify through text or call. If the option doesn’t work, check your internet connection, browser, and make sure your phone’s date and time are correct.
