I understand that, no worries. The developers will take a look into that.

2025-10-26T02:04:43.2666667+00:00 I understand you on that, in this case, I recommend waiting for the next update, as it will supersede that particular update.
In addition, what I can highly suggest is to post the issue on the feedback hub so that developers will also be aware of this problem, and hopefully, the fix will apply as soon as possible.

2025-10-25T17:19:35.8966667+00:00 Hi, thank you for replying, and I understand you on that. I just want to make sure that you downloaded the ISO, not the Media Creation tool. If yes, and still having an issue, I recommend waiting for the next update as it will supersede that particular update.

2025-10-24T01:54:10+00:00 Hi, thank you for replying. Have you selected the ISO? It seems that you have run the Media Creation tool instead of the ISO. Kindly do it again and select the ISO.

2025-10-23T21:51:35.28+00:00 Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!
This issue occurred due to a miscalibration on the Windows update. Since you have done renaming the SoftwareDistribution and catroot2, and are still having an issue, I suggest doing an in-place upgrade, wherein it will update the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.
Kindly follow the steps from this link:
