Iwant to open excel but I get the run around on the computer

    • What device are you using? (e.g., Windows 10/11, Mac, tablet) 
    • Are you trying to open Excel from a shortcut, through the Start menu, or a file directly? Are you using Desktop app or Excel Online via a browser (Chrome, Edge, etc.)? 
    • What exactly happens when you try to open Excel? (e.g., does it freeze, show an error message, or redirect somewhere, etc.)?
    • Are there any error messages or pop-ups? If yes, can you share me the full wording of the error? 
    • Does the issue occur with all Excel files or just a specific one? 
    • Has anything changed recently on your computer? (e.g., updates, new software, settings changes) Have you been able to open Excel successfully before on this device? 
    • Is this a work/school computer or a personal computer? Are you signed in with a work/school or personal account?
