Hi,
I am very disappointed with Microsoft Surface Duo. I purchased it because it was advisetised to enhance business productivity. However, after i registered the Surface Duo to my Corporation by Intune, no Word, Excel and Powerpoint could be downloaded to the work profile because they were not compatible with Surface Duo. It is really crazy and not logical that a Microsoft Android phone is designed not compatible with the Microsoft's own software. Please help solve the issue for me. Otherwise, the Surface Duo is only a brick to me. Thanks.

You just need to find a Surface Duo and try to download Word or Excel, then you will see the incompatibility problem.
Or you ask another Surface Duo professional to follow up.

For this issue, I have done a lot of research. I find that someone isn't having any trouble with the office apps, but someone has trouble.

So, to find the root cause, it is suggested to open a case to intune phone support firstly to check more background information. It will handle this issue more effectively.

Has there been any progress on this issue .... I have the SD2, I have the all in one Office app installed. The SD2 Play Store does not show any individual Office Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - just the Office App. I can open Office files in my personal email account (attachments). However, the work email account managed by InTune (Company Portal) - has permitted Office App, Word, Excel - and yet only SD1/SD2 devices are unable to open the word/excel attachments.
You get an error message - indicating there is no app available (paraphrasing here).
So .. i can sideload the apps, -- but confused, how Micrsoft is pushing a device, and the new office app, but then haven't worked out the Intune policies/integration...
Had similar problem with recently purchased SD2. Added to company managed intune portal and could successfully configure outlook, teams, and one note but Excel/Word/PowerPoint were not available (noting incompatible with this device). My company pushed the Office365 app to this device and was made available in the google play store (work profile) and installed successfully. Can now access all applicable microsoft documents (word/excel/powerpoint) from this app as well as open attachments through outlook.
