How to fix syncing error?

I bought a personal subscription for 100GB and it works on the web but when I try to use the apps like word or OneNote, it keeps telling me that I only have 5GB of storage. I tried everything from uninstalling onedrive from my laptop and resetting my laptop to calling someone for help who said I needed to wait a few days. It's now been two weeks and it still hasn't synced. I don't get the issue because when I tap view online, it clearly shows the 100GB storage but on the side icon, it tells me I only have 5GB and I'm pretty exasperated at this point. I don't know what to do.

    This can happen if the application you're using isn't logged in with the same account you used to purchase the subscription. Check that just to make sure.
